About QH Carbon
Methodology administrator and registry operator for high-integrity coal transition carbon credits
What We Do
QH Carbon is a London-based subsidiary of Quadret Holding, established as the dedicated methodology administrator and registry operator for the Coal Transition Integrity Methodology (QH-CTIM).
We are not a mine operator, project developer, or carbon broker. Our role is institutional and independent. We design and maintain the QH-CTIM standard, operate the QH-CTIM registry, oversee verification body qualification, and ensure consistent application of methodology principles across all coal transition carbon credit issuances.
We work with coal-producing regions globally to facilitate credible, verifiable, and permanent transitions away from coal extraction. Our methodology emphasizes conservative baseline assumptions, transparent monitoring, and long-term permanence commitments that extend beyond typical carbon project timelines.
Built on Integrity
Transparency
All projects, calculations, and transactions are documented and accessible. Public registry disclosure, methodology publication, and third-party verification ensure complete visibility into carbon credit generation and transfer.
Conservatism
QH-CTIM applies conservative assumptions throughout. We prioritize avoidance of overestimation over maximizing credit volume. Default assumptions favor lower issuance when data is uncertain, and baseline scenarios reflect realistic continuation of mining activity.
Permanence
Coal transition credit commitments extend for 100+ years. We maintain long-term monitoring obligations, require substantial buffer pools, and establish enforcement mechanisms to ensure coal mining cessation remains permanent and enforceable across management changes.
